This deck teaches you how to form the conditional tense in Spanish. This is the tense you use to talk about what 'would' happen. We'll focus only on how to build the verb forms, not on how to use them in conversation.

The great news is that for regular verbs, forming the conditional is simple. You take the full infinitive of the verb, like 'hablar', and add a specific ending. The endings are the same for all verb types: -ar, -er, and -ir.
Lesson#3
Let's look at the endings. For 'yo', the ending is '-ía'. So for the verb 'hablar', meaning 'to speak', 'I would speak' is 'hablaría'. Notice we keep the whole 'hablar' and just add the ending.
