Lesson#1

To avoid repeating nouns in Spanish, you can replace them with a direct object pronoun. Think of it like saying 'it' or 'them' in English. For example, instead of 'I want the book', you can say 'I want it'.

Lesson#2

In Spanish, these pronouns must match the gender and number of the noun they replace. The four pronouns we'll learn are 'lo' for masculine singular nouns, 'la' for feminine singular, 'los' for masculine plural, and 'las' for feminine plural.

Lesson#3

Let's start with 'lo', which replaces masculine singular nouns. For example, 'el libro' is masculine singular. To say 'I want it', referring to the book, you say 'Lo quiero'. Notice that the pronoun 'lo' comes directly before the verb.
