Lesson#1
To make your French sound more natural, it helps to use more precise adjectives. This deck will teach you how to choose the right adjective and put it in the right place, focusing on distinctions you can actually hear in spoken French.
Lesson#2
In French, many masculine adjectives end in a consonant that you don't pronounce, like the 'D' in 'grand'. However, when you make the adjective feminine, you often start pronouncing that final consonant. So, 'grand' becomes 'grande', and you can clearly hear the 'D' sound at the end.
Quiz#3
A male friend is tall. How would you describe him in French?

Il est grand.

Quiz#4
A female friend is tall. How would you describe her in French?

Elle est grande.

Lesson#5
Let's take another example of audible agreement. The adjective for 'green' is 'vert' for masculine nouns, with a silent 'T'. For feminine nouns, it's 'verte', and you pronounce the 'T' sound.
Quiz#6
Translate into French: a green book.
