Lesson#2
To say 'a lot of', 'much', or 'many' in Dutch, use 'veel'. For example, 'Er zijn veel mensen' means 'There are many people'. To say 'little' or 'few', use 'weinig'. For example, 'Ik heb weinig tijd' means 'I have little time'.

Lesson#6
When an amount is excessive or insufficient, put 'te' before the quantifier. 'Te veel' means 'too much' or 'too many', while 'te weinig' means 'too little' or 'too few'. For example, 'We hebben te veel brood gekocht' means 'We bought too much bread', and 'Hij heeft te weinig tijd' means 'He has too little time'.
