In Russian, everyday actions come in pairs of verbs. One verb describes an ongoing process, duration, or repeated habit, while its partner focuses on a completed result. In this deck, you will master six core verb pairs for daily activities and practise using their past-tense forms in real conversations.
Lesson#2
The verb делать means to do or to make as a continuous process. To express a completed task or finished result, Russian adds a prefix to form сделать. In the past tense, a male speaker uses делал for the process and сделал for the result. A female speaker uses делала or сделала, and a plural subject takes делали or сделали.
