In Dutch, when two things share a quality to the exact same degree, you describe them as equal. You can say that something is just as fast, just as big, or that there is just as much food. In this deck, you will learn to express equality naturally in everyday spoken Dutch.
Lesson#2
To say that someone or something is as big, old, or heavy as another, place 'even' directly before the bare adjective and 'als' after it. For example, 'Mijn broer is even oud als mijn zus' means 'My brother is as old as my sister'.
