Lesson#1
In this deck, you'll learn how to describe where things and people are located in Swedish. You'll master ten core prepositions of physical position using the verb 'är'. You'll also practise asking and answering where items are located using 'var'.
Lesson#2
To say that something is in or inside an enclosed space or container, use 'i'. In Swedish, the basic word order for location is the subject, followed by the verb 'är', then the preposition, and finally the noun in its definite form. For example, 'Boken är i väskan' means 'The book is in the bag'.
Quiz#3

Boken är i väskan

Lesson#4
To say that something is on a surface, use the preposition 'på'. For example, 'Kopparna är på bordet' means 'The cups are on the table'.
Quiz#5
Translate into Swedish: 'The cups are on the table.'

Kopparna är på bordet

Lesson#6
To describe something located underneath an object, use 'under'. For example, 'Katten är under sängen' means 'The cat is under the bed'.
