In this deck, you will learn how to tell the time using traditional Russian clock expressions. Instead of using digital numbers, Russian speakers describe minutes past the hour, quarters, and minutes to the hour relative to the upcoming hour.
Lesson#2
For minutes one to twenty-nine past the hour, state the number of minutes, followed by the upcoming hour as an ordinal number in the genitive case ending in -ого. For example, 'десять минут третьего' means ten past two, literally ten minutes of the third hour.
