You already know how to form the 'futur simple'. However, some of the most common verbs in French have irregular stems in the future tense. This deck will help you master the 'je' forms for these essential verbs, so you can talk about the future more naturally.

Let's start with two of the most important verbs: 'être' (to be) and 'avoir' (to have). In the future tense, the 'je' form of 'être' is 'je serai'. For example, to say 'I will be on holiday', you would say 'Je serai en vacances'.

For the verb 'avoir', to have, the future 'je' form is 'j’aurai'. For instance, 'I will have more time next week' is 'J’aurai plus de temps la semaine prochaine'.
