Lesson#1
You already know how to talk about one person, place, or thing using 'en' and 'ett'. Now it's time to talk about more than one. In Swedish, nouns change their endings in the plural across five main groups. In this deck, you'll learn how to form these indefinite plurals so you can count and talk about multiple things with ease.
Lesson#2
Group 1 contains 'en' words that end in the letter A. To make them plural, drop the final A and add the ending O R. For instance, 'en flicka', meaning a girl, becomes 'två flickor', meaning two girls. The same rule turns 'en klocka', a clock, into 'klockor'.
Quiz#3
How do you say 'two girls' in Swedish?

två flickor

Quiz#4
How do you say 'three clocks' in Swedish?

tre klockor

Lesson#5
Here are two more common Group 1 nouns: 'en väska', which means a bag, and 'en kvinna', which means a woman. Both end in the letter A, so their plurals end in O R: 'väskor' and 'kvinnor'.
Quiz#6
How do you say 'two bags' in Swedish?

två väskor
