Lesson#2
Most Dutch ordinal numbers are formed by adding the suffix D E to the cardinal number, but the first three are irregular. 'First' is 'eerste', 'second' is 'tweede', and 'third' is 'derde'. From four onwards, regular numbers take D E, so 'fourth' is 'vierde'.
