Lesson#1
In Dutch, most verbs form the present perfect tense with 'hebben'. However, verbs that express movement towards a specific destination, or a change of state, take 'zijn' instead. In this deck, you will learn how to use 'zijn' with these verbs and when to switch auxiliaries.
Lesson#2
When a motion verb specifies a destination or direction, it takes 'zijn' instead of 'hebben'. For example, cycling to a destination uses 'zijn'. 'Zij is naar haar werk gefietst' means 'She cycled to her work'.
Quiz#3
Translate into Dutch: 'She cycled to her work.'

Zij is naar haar werk gefietst

Quiz#4
