In this deck, you will learn how to use the Portuguese verb 'ser', which means 'to be'. You will use it to introduce yourself, state someone's name, and talk about the city you come from. We will practise the four spoken forms used across all subject pronouns in Brazil.
Lesson#2
To say 'I am', pair 'eu' with the verb form 'sou'. You can use this to introduce yourself with 'Eu sou Paulo', which means 'I am Paulo'. To say where you are from, add the word 'de' before your home city, as in 'Eu sou de Roma'.
