Let's start with introductions. If you're with a friend and want them to introduce you to someone else, you can say '¿Nos presentas?'. This is a friendly, informal way to ask 'Will you introduce us?'.

As you already know, welcome is 'bienvenido', which changes for gender and number. In a more formal welcome, Spanish often uses 'dar la bienvenida a alguien'.

After someone welcomes you, a simple and polite response is 'Muchas gracias'. You could also say 'Gracias, es un placer estar aquí', which means 'Thank you, it's a pleasure to be here'.
