In this deck, you will learn how to describe the different stages of an activity in Brazilian Portuguese. You will practise talking about when you start, finish, have just done, or quit an action. These everyday combinations will make your spoken Portuguese sound much more natural.
Lesson#2
To talk about beginning an action, use the verb começar followed by the preposition a and an infinitive. For example, 'comecei a trabalhar' means 'I started working'. In Brazil, going to the gym is commonly phrased as 'fazer academia'.
