Lesson#1
In Dutch, pointing things out depends on whether an item is close to you or further away, and whether the noun takes 'de' or 'het'. In this deck, you will learn how to choose between 'deze', 'dit', 'die', and 'dat'. You will also practise using them on their own to point at things and make choices.
Lesson#2
To say 'this' in front of a singular noun that takes 'de', use 'deze'. For example, 'de stoel' means 'the chair', and 'de tafel' means 'the table'. 'Deze stoel is comfortabel' means 'This chair is comfortable'.
Quiz#3
Translate into Dutch: 'This chair is comfortable.'

Deze stoel is comfortabel

Quiz#4
How do you say 'this man' in Dutch?

deze man

Quiz#5
How do you say 'this table' in Dutch?

deze tafel

Lesson#6
All plural nouns in Dutch take 'de', so to say 'these', you always use 'deze'. For example, 'boeken' means 'books', and 'kinderen' means 'children'. 'Deze kinderen zijn hier' means 'These children are here'.
