In this deck, you will learn spoken conversational frames to narrate past journeys, holidays, and completed weekend activities in Brazilian Portuguese. You will practise explaining where you went, how long you stayed, what you did, and how to ask others about their own travel experiences.
Lesson#2
To talk about trip destinations and departures, use the completed past with verbs like 'viajar' and 'sair'. For example, 'No ano passado eu viajei para o Nordeste' means 'Last year I travelled to the Northeast', and 'Saí de casa na sexta-feira à noite' means 'I left home on Friday night'.

Lesson#5

You can answer with 'Viajei com a minha família' for 'I travelled with my family', or mention transport with 'Nós fomos de carro', meaning 'We went by car'.
