Lesson#1
In Spanish, to say you like something, you use a special structure with the verb 'gustar'. Instead of saying 'I like the book', the Spanish structure is more like 'The book is pleasing to me'. The verb changes based on the thing being liked, not the person who likes it.
Lesson#2
This structure uses special pronouns to show who likes the thing. They are 'me' for 'to me', 'te' for 'to you' (informal), and 'le' for 'to him', 'to her', or 'to you' (formal). These go before the verb. For example, 'Me gusta' means something is pleasing to me.
