Functional French: Describing Appearance and Clothing

Learn to describe people's appearance in French, including hair, eyes, and clothing. This deck provides practical phrases for simple descriptions.
A stylish young woman walking down a charming Parisian street, her vibrant outfit featuring a red dress or a green shirt, complemented by black shoes and chic black glasses. Her blond hair flows gently, and her expressive blue, green, or brown eyes are clearly visible, captured in a vivid, candid street photography style with soft natural light, composed for a 3:2 landscape frame.

Lesson#1
Now that you know some vocabulary for body parts and clothing, let's practice using it. In this deck, you'll learn how to describe what people look like and what they are wearing, using verbs you already know like 'avoir' and 'être'.
Lesson#2
To describe someone's hair in French, you use the verb 'avoir'. The structure is 'Il a' or 'Elle a', followed by 'les cheveux' and then adjectives for colour and length.
