Lesson#1
In this deck, you will learn how to ask about someone's occupation and talk about what you and others do for a living. You will also learn the Russian words for common professions in both the singular and the plural.
Lesson#2
To ask someone about their profession formally, you say 'Кто вы по профессии?', which literally means who are you by profession. To ask more simply who someone is, you can ask 'Кто он?' for a man, or 'Кто она?' for a woman.
Quiz#3
Speaking formally, translate into Russian: 'What is your profession?'

Кто вы по профессии?

Quiz#4
How do you say 'Who is he?' in Russian?

Кто он?

Quiz#5
How do you say 'Who is she?' in Russian?

Кто она?

Lesson#6
In Russian, you state a profession directly after the pronoun without using any verb for 'to be'. The word for an engineer is 'инженер'. So 'Я инженер' means 'I am an engineer'. In the plural, engineers are 'инженеры'.
