Another very common and friendly way to propose plans is 'que tal', which means 'how about'. You can follow it with a noun, as in 'que tal um café?' for 'how about a coffee?'. You can also follow it with an infinitive, as in 'que tal almoçar juntos?' for 'how about having lunch together?'.
