In this deck, you will learn how to navigate visits to a Dutch pharmacy, known as de apotheek. You will practise picking up prescriptions, asking how to take your medication, and understanding spoken instructions and warnings from the pharmacy assistant.
Lesson#2
When you visit de apotheek, you speak to de apothekersassistent, the pharmacy assistant. Medicines are called de medicijnen, and a prescription from your doctor is het recept. To tell the assistant that you have come to collect your medication, you say: Ik kom mijn medicijnen ophalen.
