Lesson#1
To talk about what is going to happen soon in French, you can use a structure called the near future, or 'le futur proche'. It's very common in everyday conversation. You form it by using the present tense of the verb 'aller', which means 'to go', followed by the main verb in its infinitive form.
Lesson#2
For example, you already know 'je vais' means 'I go' or 'I am going'. To say 'I am going to speak', you just add the infinitive 'parler'. The full phrase is 'Je vais parler'. The first verb is conjugated, but the second verb, which is the main action, stays in its infinitive form.
