Lesson#1
In this deck, you will learn to state what languages you speak and describe how well you speak them. You will practise asking others about their language skills and expressing your own proficiency using spoken adverbs.
Lesson#2
To talk about speaking a language in Russian, you combine the verb говорить with an adverb starting with по-. The adverb for the Russian language is по-русски. For example, Я говорю по-русски means I speak Russian.

To ask someone politely whether they speak Russian, use the formal вы form of the verb with rising question intonation. Вы говорите по-русски? means Do you speak Russian?.
