In Russian, reflexive verbs express actions you do for yourself, daily routines, or shared activities like meeting up. They end with a special reflexive ending that attaches to the normal verb forms. In this deck, you will learn how this ending behaves and master five everyday verbs in the present tense.
Lesson#2
When a verb form ends in a vowel sound, the reflexive ending is 'сь'. The verb 'учиться' means to study or to be a student. For 'I', the verb ends in the vowel 'У', so you say 'я учусь'. 'Я учусь в университете' means 'I study at university'.
