Welcome to this deck on the French conditional tense. This is the tense you use to talk about what 'would' happen in a hypothetical situation. By the end of this deck, you'll be able to form the conditional for regular and irregular verbs, and use it to talk about things like what you would do if you won the lottery.
Lesson#2
Let's start with how to form the conditional tense for regular verbs. The rule is simple: you take the full infinitive form of the verb, that's the 'to do' form like 'parler' or 'finir', and you add the endings of the imperfect tense.
Lesson#3
The imperfect endings, which you attach to the infinitive, are: A I S for 'je', A I S for 'tu', A I T for 'il', 'elle' and 'on', I O N S for 'nous', I E Z for 'vous', and A I E N T for 'ils' and 'elles'.
