Lesson#1
In French, prepositions like 'à', meaning to, at, or in, and 'de', meaning from or of, are essential for talking about places. We also use 'en' for some locations, especially countries.
Quiz#2
Translate into French: 'I am in Paris.'

Je suis à Paris.

Lesson#3
A special rule applies when 'à' and 'de' come before the definite articles 'le' and 'les'. They contract, or merge, into a single new word. Let's start with 'à'.
Lesson#4
When you have 'à' followed by the masculine article 'le', they must combine to form 'au'. For example, you don't say 'Je vais à le parc', you say 'Je vais au parc'.
Quiz#5
Translate into French: 'He is going to the market.'

Il va au marché.

Quiz#6
Translate into French: 'We are at the restaurant.'

Nous sommes au restaurant.
