In this deck, you will learn how to make comparisons of equality in Portuguese. You will compare qualities, quantities, and actions to say that two things are equal, using patterns like tão quanto and tanto quanto.
Lesson#2
To compare qualities using adjectives, use the word tão followed by the adjective, and then quanto or como. In spoken Brazilian Portuguese, quanto and como are completely interchangeable. For example, 'Este hotel é tão confortável quanto o outro' means 'This hotel is as comfortable as the other one'.
