Lesson#1
To talk about things that 'have happened', Spanish uses a tense called the present perfect. It's built with two parts: a form of the helping verb 'haber', which means 'to have' in this context, and a past participle. In this deck, we'll focus just on how to build this form correctly.
Lesson#2
Let's start with the forms of 'haber' for 'I', 'you' singular, and 'he', 'she', or 'you' formal. They are 'he' for 'I', 'has' for 'you' informal, and 'ha' for 'he', 'she', or 'you' formal. For example, 'I have spoken' is 'Yo he hablado'.
Quiz#3
Translate into Spanish: 'I have spoken.'

Yo he hablado.

Quiz#4
Translate into Spanish: 'You have spoken.', when addressing a friend.

Tú has hablado.

Quiz#5
Translate into Spanish: 'She has spoken.'

Ella ha hablado.

Lesson#6
Now for the plural forms of 'haber'. For 'we', use 'hemos'. For 'you' plural informal, as in Spain, use 'habéis'. For 'they' or 'you' plural formal, use 'han'. For example, 'we have eaten' is 'Nosotros hemos comido'.
