Lesson#1
In Spanish, you can identify people and objects using the verb 'ser', which you already know means 'to be'. In this deck, we'll combine 'ser' with articles to say what something is, like 'It is a table' or 'He is the teacher'.
Lesson#2
To identify what type of thing something is, especially when mentioning it for the first time, you use the indefinite articles: 'un' for a masculine thing, and 'una' for a feminine thing. For example, 'Es una mesa' means 'It is a table'.

You see an object and want to say what type of thing it is. Translate into Spanish: 'It is a table.'

For plural nouns, you use 'unos' for masculine and 'unas' for feminine to identify a type of thing. For example, 'Son unas llaves' means 'They are some keys'. Remember that a mixed-gender group of people uses the masculine form.
