To express an opinion or a doubt about something that has already happened, you can use the phrase 'Penso che abbia dimenticato...'. For example, 'Penso che abbia dimenticato le chiavi' means 'I think he or she has forgotten the keys'.

Similarly, to say you believe something has already happened, you can use the chunk 'Credo che sia già partito', which means 'I believe he has already left'. For a female subject, you would say 'Credo che sia già partita'.

To express uncertainty, you can use the fixed chunk “Può darsi che...”, meaning “It may be that...”. For example, “Può darsi che arrivi tardi” means “He or she may arrive late”.
