Lesson#1
In Brazilian Portuguese, changing the endings of words does much more than describe physical size. Special endings like I N H O and à O allow you to sound warm, soften requests, or show great enthusiasm. In this deck, you will learn how to form and use these spoken diminutives and augmentatives naturally.
Lesson#2
To make regular diminutives for words ending in an unstressed vowel, drop that vowel and add I N H O for masculine words or I N H A for feminine words. For example, carro becomes carrinho, meaning a little car, and casa becomes casinha, meaning a little house.
Quiz#3

o carrinho

Quiz#4
