French A2: Short Spoken Descriptions & Monologues

Practice combining your French vocabulary and grammar to give short spoken descriptions of people, places, events, and routines.
A wide, sun-drenched photograph of a young woman sitting alone on a bench in a beautiful Parisian park, like the Jardin du Luxembourg, with a thoughtful and expressive look as she observes the charming surroundings, as if mentally forming words to describe the scene. The lush greenery and classic architecture fill the 3:2 landscape frame.

Lesson#1
In this deck, you'll bring together everything you've learned to give short, spoken descriptions. The goal is to speak for a few sentences on familiar topics like people, places, and activities, just like you would in a real conversation.
Lesson#2
A simple way to structure a description is to start with a main idea, add one or two details, and then maybe share a feeling or an opinion. For example: 'J'aime mon quartier. Il est très calme et il y a un parc. Je trouve que c'est un endroit agréable.' (I like my neighbourhood. It's very calm and there's a park. I find it's a pleasant place.)
Lesson#3
Let's start by describing people. You can talk about their appearance, using words for hair and eyes, and their personality, mentioning if they are funny, kind, or serious. This helps to paint a picture for the listener.
Quiz#4
Translate into French: 'My best friend is very kind and funny.'

Mon meilleur ami est très gentil et drôle.

Quiz#5

Elle a les cheveux courts et bruns et les yeux bleus.

Quiz#6
