You already know the basic ways to make a sentence negative in French. This deck will teach you more advanced forms, so you can say things like 'nobody', 'nothing', 'nowhere', 'only', and 'neither...nor'. Mastering these will make your spoken French much more precise.

Let's start with 'nobody'. When 'nobody' is the subject of the sentence, you use 'personne ne' before the verb. For example, 'Personne ne répond' means 'Nobody is answering'.
