In this deck, you will learn how to compare qualities directly in Russian. In English, we say faster, warmer, or more beautiful. In Russian, you form these comparisons by changing the adjective stem, and the resulting comparative form stays identical regardless of gender, number, or case.
Lesson#2
The most common way to make a comparative adjective is to replace the dictionary ending with the suffix E E, or conversationally E Y. For example, 'быстрый' becomes 'быстрее', meaning faster. 'красивый' becomes 'красивее', meaning more beautiful.
