In this deck, you'll learn some useful phrases for talking about culture and media in French. We'll cover how to describe what you see in a painting, give your opinion on a film or book, and discuss your reading habits and the news.
Lesson#2
When describing a painting or a photo, you can point out where things are. To talk about the middle, you can say 'Au centre, on voit...', which means 'In the centre, we see...'. For example, 'Au centre, on voit une femme'.

Lesson#4
You can also use 'Au premier plan' for 'in the foreground' and 'À l'arrière-plan' for 'in the background'. To talk about the sides, use 'À gauche' for 'on the left' and 'À droite' for 'on the right'.
