Lesson#1
Welcome to your A2 Italian part 3. By the end, you'll be able to talk confidently about past events, describe memories and habits, make future plans, and handle practical travel situations like trains, hotels, and sightseeing in Italian.
Lesson#2
To talk about completed actions in the past, Italians use a tense called the 'passato prossimo'. It's formed with two parts: a helping verb, which is either 'avere' or 'essere', and the past participle of the main verb. For example, 'I have spoken' is 'Ho parlato'.
Lesson#3
Most verbs use 'avere', meaning 'to have', as the helping verb. To form the past participle of regular verbs, you change the infinitive ending. Verbs ending in A R E take the ending A T O, like 'parlato' from 'parlare'. Verbs ending in E R E take U T O, and verbs in I R E take I T O.
