Welcome to Part 4 of your Italian B1 course. In this section, you'll learn one of the most important structures for expressing yourself more naturally: the subjunctive. This will allow you to share opinions, doubts, and feelings, taking your conversational skills to the next level.

In Italian, when you want to express a personal opinion, a doubt, or a necessity, you often use a special verb form called the 'congiuntivo', or subjunctive. It's usually introduced by the word 'che', meaning 'that', following phrases like 'I think that...' or 'it's necessary that...'.
Lesson#3
Let's start with regular verbs ending in '-are', like 'parlare', to speak. In the present subjunctive, the 'io', 'tu', and 'lui' or 'lei' forms are all the same: 'parli'. For 'noi' it's 'parliamo', for 'voi' it's 'parliate', and for 'loro' it's 'parlino'.
