Lesson#1
In this deck, you will learn everyday conversational formulas for welcoming visitors and making small talk in Dutch. You will practise greeting guests at the door, offering drinks, exchanging small gifts, and chatting comfortably about daily life and the weather.
Lesson#2
To invite guests inside when opening the door, use the inviting imperatives 'Kom binnen!' for 'Come inside!' or 'Kom verder!' for 'Come in!'. You can direct them to hang up their outerwear by saying 'Hang je jas maar aan de kapstok', which means 'Just hang your coat on the coat rack'.
