This 'accidental se' structure uses 'se', followed by a pronoun for the person affected, like 'me', 'te', or 'le'. The verb then agrees with the object, not the person. For example, 'Se me cayó el móvil' means 'I dropped my phone', where the verb 'cayó' agrees with 'el móvil'.

If the object is plural, the verb must also be plural. For instance, 'Se me cayeron las llaves'. Here, 'cayeron' is the plural form because 'las llaves' is plural. The structure is the same, but the verb changes to match the noun.
