Lesson#2
Christianity teaches that wealth itself is not evil, but the love of money and greed can lead to sin. The key idea is stewardship. This is the belief that everything people have, including their wealth, ultimately belongs to God. Therefore, they have a responsibility to use it wisely and for the good of others.

Jesus often used parables to teach about the dangers of wealth. In the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus, a rich man lives in luxury while a poor beggar named Lazarus suffers at his gate. The rich man ignores Lazarus. After they die, Lazarus is in heaven while the rich man is in torment, not because he was rich, but because he did nothing to help the person in need right in front of him.
