Let's learn how to say where things are. Spanish has three useful words for this: 'aquí', 'ahí', and 'allí'. They all mean 'here' or 'there', but show different distances from the speaker.

Use 'aquí' for 'here', when something is very close to you, in the same space you are. For example, 'El libro está aquí' means 'The book is here', right beside me.
