Lesson#1
In spoken Brazilian Portuguese, object pronouns like 'me' and 'te' almost always sit right before the verb. While traditional grammar often attaches pronouns after verbs, Brazilians naturally place them in front, even at the very start of a sentence.
Lesson#2
In everyday Brazilian speech, starting a sentence directly with an object pronoun is standard and natural. To ask someone to pass or give something to you, place 'me' at the very beginning before the verb. For example, 'me dá um café' means 'give me a coffee'.
Quiz#3
How do you say 'give me a coffee' in Portuguese?

me dá um café

Quiz#4
How do you say 'pass me the salt' in Portuguese?

me passa o sal

Quiz#5
How do you say 'help me here, please' in Portuguese?

me ajuda aqui, por favor

Lesson#6
You also place 'te' at the beginning of a sentence when speaking informally to someone. For example, 'te vejo amanhã' means 'see you tomorrow', and 'te ligo mais tarde' means 'I will call you later'.
