Lesson#3
To say what time it is, you start with 'Il est', which means 'It is'. Then you add the number and the word 'heure' for 'o'clock'. For one o'clock, you say 'Il est une heure'. We use 'une' because 'heure' is a feminine word.

For any time from two o'clock onwards, you use the number followed by 'heures', the plural form. For example, to say "It's two o'clock," you would say 'Il est deux heures'.
