Lesson#2
To show that something belongs to someone in Italian, you use possessive words like 'my', 'your', or 'his'. Unlike in English, these words must agree in gender and number with the noun they describe, not the person who owns it. We'll start with the words for 'my'.
Lesson#3
The word for 'my' before a masculine singular noun is 'mio'. It's almost always used with the article 'il'. For example, to say 'my book', you would say 'il mio libro'.
