Lesson#1
In this deck, you will learn to express likes, tastes, and preferences in Russian. Instead of saying that you like something, Russian phrases it as something being pleasing to you. You will master this common structure with singular nouns, plural nouns, and everyday activities.
Lesson#2
To express that you like a singular object, use the dative pronoun for yourself, 'мне', followed by the verb 'нравится'. For example, 'Мне нравится этот город' means 'I like this city'. If the object is feminine, the verb stays the same: 'Мне нравится эта музыка' means 'I like this music'.

Lesson#5
When talking about other people, put their name or pronoun in the dative case before 'нравится'. For 'she', use 'ей', and for masculine names like 'Антон', add a 'У' to get 'Антону'. For example, 'Ей нравится эта музыка' means 'She likes this music', and 'Антону нравится новая работа' means 'Anton likes the new job'.
