A wide, horizontal photograph of a bustling Palace Square in St. Petersburg, Russia, at golden hour. Numerous people are scattered across the vast square, some walking, some gathered in groups, with the ornate neoclassical architecture of the General Staff Building and the distant Hermitage Museum providing a majestic backdrop. The warm, low light highlights the intricate details of the buildings and the dynamic activity of the crowd.

Lesson#1
In Russian, describing several people or things across different cases is remarkably regular. Unlike singular adjectives, plural adjectives do not distinguish gender at all. In this deck, you will learn the endings needed to modify plural nouns in every oblique case.
Lesson#2
When talking about groups of things or people in the prepositional case after prepositions like 'О' or 'В', hard-stem adjectives take the ending Ы Х. For example, 'новые' becomes 'о новых фильмах', meaning 'about new films', and 'большие' becomes 'в больших городах', meaning 'in large cities'.
Quiz#3
Translate into Russian: 'We spoke about new films.'

Мы говорили о новых фильмах

Quiz#4
Translate into Russian: 'They live in large cities.'

Они живут в больших городах

Lesson#5
When an adjective stem ends in a velar consonant, a sibilant, or is soft, the prepositional plural ending is И Х instead of Ы Х. For example, 'русские' becomes 'в русских музеях', 'хорошие' becomes 'о хороших друзьях', and 'синие' becomes 'в синих джинсах'.
Quiz#6
Translate into Russian: 'We were in Russian museums.'

Мы были в русских музеях
