Swedish has a special set of possessive words used when the subject of a sentence owns the object. While English uses 'his', 'her', or 'their' for both your own things and someone else's, Swedish distinguishes them clearly. In this deck, you will master when to use 'sin', 'sitt', and 'sina'.

When the subject of the sentence is 'han' or 'hon' and possesses a singular common gender noun, use 'sin'. For example, 'Hon kör sin bil' means 'She drives her car', referring to her own car.
