Lesson#2
To talk about what someone could or was able to do in the past, Swedish uses 'kunde', which is the past tense of 'kan'. Just like in the present, 'kunde' is followed directly by an infinitive without 'att'. For example, 'Jag kunde inte komma' means 'I could not come'.
