Lesson#1
In this deck, you will learn Dutch object personal pronouns for people and things. You will discover when to use unstressed everyday forms like 'me' and 'je', and when to use stressed forms like 'mij' and 'jou' for emphasis or after prepositions.
Lesson#2
When you are the object of an action, the standard everyday spoken form for 'me' is the unstressed word 'me'. For example, 'Hoor je me?' means 'Do you hear me?'. When you want to place deliberate emphasis on yourself, you use the stressed form 'mij', as in 'Zie je mij?'.
Quiz#3

Hoor je me?

Quiz#4
Emphasising the pronoun, translate into Dutch: 'Do you see me?'

Zie je mij?

Lesson#5
After prepositions such as 'met', meaning 'with', Dutch requires the stressed object pronoun 'mij'. For example, 'Kom je met mij mee?' means 'Are you coming along with me?'.
Quiz#6
